Powell Library's Temporary Location is Closing!

 

The Powell Library will be leaving its temporary location at Homesteader Hall at the Park County Fairgrounds. The last day the library will be open to the public at the Fairgrounds is April 1, 2026.

 

Library staff will begin moving books and materials on March 30, so availability of some items may be limited during the final days of service.

 

After April 1:

• The book drop at the Fairgrounds will remain open for returns.

• Powell patrons may access services through the Cody Library while the new building is being prepared.

 

The Grand Opening of the new Powell Library at 217 East 3rd Street will be announced soon!
