Foundation Hosts 2-Day Bag Sale at Cody Library

The Park County Library Foundation is excited to host a two-day Bag Sale in Grizzly Hall at the Cody Library on Friday, August 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, August 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This community book sale offers book lovers the chance to fill a bag with books for just $5 per bag. Shoppers are welcome to bring their own tote or book bag, or they can use one of the grocery sacks provided at the sale. To keep things fair and accessible for all, large luggage-style bags will not be allowed. Please note that only cash and checks will be accepted at this event.

Proceeds from the Bag Sale directly support the Park County Library Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing library services across the county. The Foundation provides funding for programs, events, and resources that fall outside the regular library budget. This includes everything from summer reading prizes and special events to technological upgrades.

By shopping the sale, you're not only getting a great deal on books, but you’re also helping ensure that the Park County Libraries in Cody, Powell, and Meeteetse continue to serve the community.
