Should Park County Have a Bookmobile? Take the Survey!

Park County Library System (PCLS) is exploring the possibility of adding a bookmobile, and we want to hear from you!

A bookmobile is a traveling library that brings books and library services directly to communities throughout the county. With regularly scheduled stops, a bookmobile could allow residents to browse and check out materials, pick up requested items, get a library card, and access services such as Wi-Fi and printing closer to home.

PCLS is gathering public feedback to better understand community interest, potential stops, and the services residents would find most useful. Your input can help us understand how a bookmobile might serve communities throughout Park County.

Take the Survey

Take a few minutes to complete our survey by November 20 and share your thoughts. We welcome feedback from everyone, including those who regularly visit the library and those who don't.

Prefer paper? Printed surveys are also available at each of the Park County Libraries in Cody, Powell, and Meeteetse.

How Would a Bookmobile Be Funded?

The Park County Library Foundation would be the primary source of funding for the purchase of a bookmobile. Additional planning would be needed to determine the details of implementation and ongoing operating costs. Community feedback is an important step in exploring whether a bookmobile would be a valuable addition.

Thank you for helping us explore ways to make library services accessible to more people throughout Park County!
