iPhone Users: Don’t Miss Important Messages from Your Library!

If you’ve recently updated your iPhone to iOS 26, you may not be seeing all of your library text reminders, such as hold pickup notices or overdue alerts.
The new operating system includes enhanced message and call screening, which is helpful for blocking spam, but it may also hide messages from organizations you do want to hear from, like your library!
What’s Happening?
Phone calls from unfamiliar numbers may be screened before they ring through.
Text messages from unsaved numbers are automatically sent to a separate “Unknown Senders” folder in the Messages app.
If our number isn’t saved in your contacts, you might not see our notifications at all.
How to Stay Connected
To make sure you continue receiving timely alerts from Park County Libraries, please:
Save our notification number in your phone: 307-291-1036
Check your “Unknown Senders” tab in your Messages app if you think you may have missed something.
Thank you for staying connected with your libraries in Cody, Powell, and Meeteetse!
